File Privacy Notice: Your files are processed securely in a temporary session and are removed within one hour of conversion. We maintain strict security practices to protect your data during this period.

1. Data Collection

File Uploads

When you use our service to convert files:

  • Files are processed in a secure, isolated environment
  • Each upload is assigned a unique, temporary session
  • Uploaded files and converted output are automatically removed within one hour
  • No file content is ever stored permanently

Server Logs

Like most web services, we maintain standard server logs for operational and security purposes. These logs may include IP addresses, browser information, file metadata (type and size), and request details. Logs are used for monitoring service health, troubleshooting errors, and protecting against abuse.

Contact information is securely stored and used solely for responding to your inquiries.

We make no guarantees regarding the security or confidentiality of any data transmitted to or processed by this service. Use of this service is at your own risk.

2. Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the service:

  • Conversion metrics:
    • Number of successful conversions
    • Types of files being converted
    • Conversion error rates
    • Processing times
  • System performance data:

  • Website analytics through Google Analytics:
    • Pages visited
    • Time spent on site
    • Browser type and version
    • Device type and operating system
    • Geographic location (country/region level)
    • Referral sources

All usage data is anonymized and cannot be linked to individual users. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling Do Not Track in your browser settings.

3. Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics — for anonymous website usage statistics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense — for serving advertisements. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing activity. See Google's Advertising Policies.

These services are operated by Google and are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control the data collected by these services. You can manage your ad personalization preferences at Google Ad Settings.

5. Data Retention

We apply strict, automated retention limits to every category of data we temporarily store:

  • Converted files: automatically deleted 60 minutes after your last access. Nothing you upload or convert is kept beyond that window.
  • Session data: expires 30 minutes after your last activity on the site. Expired session files are purged from disk by a scheduled cleanup task shortly afterward.
  • Contact-form messages: retained for 90 days so we can respond to your inquiry, then moved into monthly compressed archives for operator review only. The originals are removed from the live message store once the archive has been verified.

Cleanup runs automatically in the background; there is no manual step required to enforce these limits.

6. Data Protection

We implement multiple layers of security:
