File Privacy Notice: Your files are processed securely in a temporary session and are removed within one hour of conversion. We maintain strict security practices to protect your data during this period.

  • Each upload is assigned a unique, temporary session
  • Uploaded files and converted output are automatically removed within one hour
  • No file content is ever stored permanently

These logs may include IP addresses, browser information, file metadata (type and size), and request details. Logs are used for monitoring service health, troubleshooting errors, and protecting against abuse.

5. Data Retention

We apply strict, automated retention limits to every category of data we temporarily store:

  • Converted files: automatically deleted 60 minutes after your last access. Nothing you upload or convert is kept beyond that window.
  • Session data: expires 30 minutes after your last activity on the site. Expired session files are purged from disk by a scheduled cleanup task shortly afterward.
  • Contact-form messages: retained for 90 days so we can respond to your inquiry, then moved into monthly compressed archives for operator review only. The originals are removed from the live message store once the archive has been verified.

Cleanup runs automatically in the background; there is no manual step required to enforce these limits.
